Loved being able to go and watch all 5 players (Charlie Handel, Dewi Rice, Jerome Brackley, Leon Crayford and Mina Myall) put in some top performances and top class attitude throughout the day.  Great to see them play to their potential and implementing new aspects to their game.  This also led to some brilliant results at Herts 15 bronze:

Boys singles:

Dewi made it to the quarter final in which he played the 1st seed and pushed him to 21-17 in a very entertaining match. Leon went on to gain a bronze medal in the single. Meanwhile, Jerome picked up the silver beating the 1st seed 21-19 on the way.

Girls singles:

Mina, not to be outdone by the boys, played superbly to reach the final and win a well deserved silver.

Boys doubles:

Charlie and his partner Vinay picked up the bronze medal, pushing the eventual winners 21-18 in the semis, in what was just their first tournament together. Jerome and Dewi went on to win silver with some quality performances along the way.

Great to be able to watch some very good matches with everyone showing excellent attitude throughout the day.
